Dr. Rajib De is a renowned Haematologist, Haemato-oncologist & Bone Marrow Transplant physician practicing in Kolkata and Howrah. He is Associate Professor in the Department of Haematology, N.R.S Medical College & Hospital as well as Senior Consultant & Head of Haematology & Haemato-oncology Unit of Narayana Superspeciality Hospital,Howrah, considered as best Oncology Hospital of Eastern India by Times Health Survey 2016.

Dr. Rajib De obtained the postdoctoral DM superspeciality degree in Clinical Haematology from the Institute of Haematology and Transfusion Medicine at Medical College, Kolkata, in 2010. He also completed a specialist residency in bone marrow transplantation at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai in 2012.



During DM-Clinical Haematology course he got training in Bone Marrow Transplant unit of All India Institute of Medical Sciences(AIIMS), New Delhi and developed special interest in Bone Marrow Transplantation(BMT). He started bone marrow transplantation in Medical College Calcutta in the year 2009. After achieving DM degree in Clinical Haematology he went to Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai to pursue his training in Bone Marrow Transplantation from 2011 to 2012. During this period he performed 65 transplants including autologous,allogenic and unrelated in cases of leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, aplastic anaemia, MDS and thalassaemia. After coming back to Kolkata he joined the Department of Haematology, NRS Medical College as assistant professor and performed first ever allogenic transplant in a case of acute Leukemia in Govt Hospital of West Bengal in October 2012. He is now regularly doing stem cell transplants in N.R.S Medical College & Hospital and is involved in developing a state of the art BMT unit in Narayana Superspeciality Hospital. He has been promoted to the post of Associate professor in the year 2016.

    • A randomized, double-blind, phase iii study comparing biosimilar rituximab (rtxm83) plus chop chemotherapy versus a reference rituximab plus chop (r-chop) in patients with diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (dlbcl)given as first line
    • A prospective, open-label, multi-centric study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of inj. romiplostim of intas pharmaceuticals ltd. in adult indian patients with chronic refractory idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura.
    • An open label single arm multicentric study evaluating the safety and efficacy of intranasal methylcobalamin in the treatment and maintainance therapy of vitamin b12 deficiency
